This past weekend, I was able to take a trip to Moab, UT to see my friend Kerr
y! My friend Torie came along and it was a fun trip. We left Salt Lake friday morning and came back saturday evening. It was a short trip but while we were down there we got to see Kerry's massage studio, which was so cool it made me want a massage so bad! We walked around and went to all the little shops that had really neat things! I found the kind of bag I have been wanting to get, finally after months of looking! Of course, I bought it. Torie and I got to watch Kerry get some tat work done! It was interesting. I dont think I could stand the pain because im such a wimp! Haha.. Saturday we woke up and went on a hike to see the delicate arch! It was so beautiful! I really enjoy hiking and being outdoors, so it was so great to be able to go on a hike! It was the first hike I have been on here in Utah and I have lived here for almost 3 years! Weird considering there are tons of places to hike! By the time w
e were done with the hike, we had enough time to sit and have lunch before heading to Spanish Fork, UT for the Holi Festival of Colors! After the 3 hour drive, we got there to discover they were sold out of the powder stuff! Torie found bags on the ground that had some in them so its not like we didnt get any color on us. People were more than happy to throw powder on us though! I kept getting hit unexpectedly! We met this one lady who was nice enough to give us one of her bags and then after a minute, we traded with someone else for a different color! Finally, after a few minutes they stared the countdown and everyone went crazy! Colors everywhere and I couldnt even breathe! The powder or whatever it was, went all up my nose, in my ears, and in my mouth! It was so nasty but totally worth it! Its like a big food fight but with powder stuff! It was so much fun! Then, we headed home. It was a short trip but well needed and well enjoyed.
